NATURE FETISH is a project conceived across social and disciplinary spheres. The opera will be presented by New York City’s first and only dedicated gallery for performance art, Grace Exhibition Space (840 Broadway Brooklyn, NY J/M/Z to Myrtle/Broadway). As part of each performance, PPL-curated artists working in time-based performance will deal directly with the “nature” of performance, operation of “nature” in performance, and conceptions of “nature” as such.
The 70-minute opera starts at 8pm each night (+ a 4pm performance on Saturday), the exhibition takes over at 9:30ish each night.
