Esther Neff and Brian McCorkle deal with Joseph Pastor’s MONOLITH installation at IV Soldiers Gallery, Brooklyn NY. Curated by Ivy Castellanos. PPL water the sod, manipulate an 18’ PVC pipe and make a model of the monolith out of instant mashed potaoes, cocoa powder, and green sugar in a replication of the gallery space. Candles are lit, PPL and the audience sing Happy Birthday and make wishes blowing out the candles through the PVC pipe.
