PPL's originating co-directors, Esther Neff and Brian McCorkle, are creating a new piece of music-theatre. We don't yet have a cute blurb about it, but it's dealing with:
-Parallels between previous waves of settler colonialism and contemporary neurocolonization/technofascim: consciousness and capitalism, "mental enclosure," cognitive warfare
-The Hermetic Tradition, critiques of astrology (e.g. Adorno's, evangelical attacks), contemporary obsession with astrology (+ "human design" ), tarot, auguries, and other pseudo-spiritual complex systems
-Cosmological modeling and the ethics of metaphysics
-Human agency
The working title is Settlers Surrender: The Spirit Compels You
We will premiere a multi-lingual (English and French) workshop version of the piece in Feb-March 2027 in Montréal
