"DISPOSABLE" Collaborative performance by Katya Grokhovsky and Jeremy Olson

The artists explore the fast-paced proliferation of disposable pop culture and our own obsessive thirst for visibility through the inevitable waste production of these networks. We are sealed in machines of circulation and consumption, our bodies are the source and sink of massive volumes of material, all fueled by emotions purchased online by credit card. Boredom, exhaustion, pain, and the unexpected joy of moving to music are our currency as we explore gesture, movement, and sound from within our garbage bags.
