ABOUT MILES PFLANZ Miles Pflanz survives on hot sauce on the edge of Bushwick pointing a Hi8 here and there and curating at Fitness Center for Arts and Tactics. Drawing on the aesthetics of Jackass and internet porn, home video of the 1990's, and performance art of the last century, Pflanz's work combines public action (dragging meat to Riker's Island, going through garbage in search of clothes) with conceptual performance (stretching barbed wire through the audience, nailing fruit to a wall) and disturbingly well-planned and executed cinematography. PPL present a night of Pflanz's work, including the cult hit "Savage Necessities."
